Krabi boasts some of the most vividly scenic spots in the world. Snuggling the Andaman Sea, Krabi is known for its diving, snorkeling and rock climbing. With access to over 200 tropical islands with their brilliant beaches and crystal clear waters, it’s hard not to want to study in Krabi. If you’re an avid abseiler or a kayaker, then there’s also plenty to do in your downtime. And when your body is just too sore from all the outdoor fun, then it’s time to restore your emotional and physical wellbeing with a Thai massage.

Ao Nang, Krabi’s most developed beach, is well populated with all the amenities one could long for, including medical services delivered by doctors proficient in English, as well as plenty of nightlife hangouts. And then there’s the town of Krabi…

At first glance, it’s packed with travel agencies, guest houses, western restaurants and gift shops. But look a little closer and you’ll begin to spot the laid-back nature of the locals shining through. The Night Market and Walking Street (along with the Day Market which is also open at night) are some of the best places to relax and take in a new culture. Flower sellers, tropical fruit stands and vendors selling the most amazing Thai curries and satays will quickly make you think you’ve landed in paradise. And if you’d like to pick up a new skill, consider taking a class in Thai cooking or studying the ancient Thai martial arts at a local boxing club.
